Upstash — rate limiting, no personal data stored
Vercel — hosting, no personal data stored beyond standard server logs
4. Data retention
Your account data is retained until you delete your account
Onboarding session data is deleted immediately after onboarding completes
Chatbot conversation history is retained for 90 days then automatically deleted
Notification records are retained for 30 days then automatically deleted
If you delete your account all your data is permanently deleted within 30 days
5. Your rights
You have the right to:
Access all data we hold about you — email us at shahaarit3@gmail.com to request this
Correct any inaccurate data in your account settings
Delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile settings
Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account
6. Children
MarketPlay is designed for users aged 16 and above. If you are under 16 you must have parental consent to use this app. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover we have collected data from a child under 13 we will delete it immediately.
7. Security
We protect your data using:
Row Level Security on every database table — users can only access their own private data
Encrypted transmission via HTTPS on all routes
Server side only access to all API keys — never exposed to the browser
Session expiry after 7 days of inactivity
8. Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes to this policy we will notify you via email and in-app notification before the changes take effect.
